Privacy

How we handle your information.

This notice explains how AML UK Advisory Ltd processes personal data as a controller under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

AML UK Advisory Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 32 Threadneedle Street, London EC2R 8AY. You can contact our Data Protection Lead at privacy@argentwardell.co.uk.

Personal data we process

We process contact and professional details you provide through this website or in the course of an engagement, including your name, work email, employer, role and the content of your enquiry. Where an engagement requires us to review client files, we may also process personal data contained in those files as a processor on your behalf.

Lawful bases

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and delivering our advisory services, on the performance of a contract with you or your firm, and on our legal obligations — including obligations under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 which apply to us as a professional services firm.

Retention

We retain enquiry data for up to twelve months. Engagement records are retained for the period required by our professional obligations and, where applicable, by Regulation 40 of the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 (generally five years from the end of the business relationship).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
